Callie and Libby Dec. 4th

We went to Chatanooga, TN to visit our good friends Josh and Jessie and their new baby girl Libby. We went out to eat then we went to their house and let the girls play, well... more like look at each other. One day they will play. :)

Callie's 1st day of school. Dec. 4

Today was Callie's 1st day of school. I did really good and didn't cry, but I did miss her a lot and called 3 times during the day to check on her. We love her school! West Minister Christian Academy. Her teachers said she had a great day, and they just spoiled her all day!

Mommy drying my hair for the 1st time.

Tonight when Callie got out of the bath tub, I dried her hair with a hair dryer. She loved it! She was screaming when I first got her out, but right when I turned on the dryer she stopped. After I finished and turned the dryer off, she started crying again. I thought we were going to have to sleep with the dryer on. :)

We saw Santa come to town. Nov. 15

Today we went to the Mt. Berry mall and saw Santa come in. It was so crowded but it is so much fun! He comes in with real Reindeer and a sleigh. It was Nana, Lily, Mary Ellen, Mommy, Daddy, and Me. We had a great time.

Shana is getting married

Well, my sister is getting married. She is marring a guy named Nick Riggs. We like him a lot! If I had to pick a brother-in-law then I would pick him. He is really great with Lily too! They are getting married March 14, 2009 in Gatlinburge, TN. I am very excited for Shana and I hope they have a wonderful life together! I love ya'll!

Thanksgiving Nov. 27, 08

Happy Thanksgiving to all our friends and family! Callie had a wonderful 1st Thanksgiving. It started this morning watching the parade. Then we went to Mawmaw Farrer's house. We ate lots of great food, then we took pictures for the paper for her 5th generation picture. Then we came home and all of my family came over. Instead of doing turkey like normal families, we grilled out steaks and had lots of yummy food. We had lots of fun today, and hopefully tomorrow I can find some great deals for Christmas! :) Thank you Mary Ellen for the pictures!

First Smile :) Nov. 22

Callie smiled for the first time today. It was a real smile and not just gas. She kept smiling for about 15 min. I loved it! She was over at my mom's house and I came in and got to catch the moment. Then my mom kept Callie, and me and Ben went on a date. We had a great time eating and going to walmart. How exciting our dates are! :)

Well, today we had pictures made for Christmas of Callie and Lily. They turned out great, but it only took us 2 1/2 hours! :) I was ready for a nap when we finished. But.. it was worth it when we got the pictures back!

Christmas Village Nov. 8

Today my Mom, Callie, and Myself went to Christmas Village in Birmingham, AL. It is a huge arts and crafts festival. Callie had her first hand and foot prints made in a clay plate, and she had her first picture with Santa Clause. We had so much fun! It will be a must to go every year. Thank you Pam for telling me about it! :)

Today Callie had her first bath. Nov.3. She screamed and didn't really like it much. But afterwards, she smelt so good. All I wanted to do was cuddle with her.

November 2, 2008 Callie made her first appearance at church. Dr. May finally got to hold her, and his first words to her were,"I am so glad that you didn't get my nose!" Hehe.

Callie's first Halloween

This year was so much fun for Halloween. We carved a pumpkin a few days before Halloween, and we had a lot of fun. I did all the dirty work, and my niece Lily helped me. We made a big mess, but it was worth it! On Halloween Day, I dressed Callie up in her bumble bee outfit, and we went to the beauty shop to see all the girls and let them see her. Then that night, we went out to my cousin's house and ate dinner and took lots of pictures. Lily was Sleeping Beauty and my cousin Cameron was himself. We had fun, but it was cold! Then we went out to Ben's parents to visit them. It was a long day, but it was a great 1st Halloween for Callie! :)

She is finally here! :)

Well... On Thursday, October 16, 2008 Callie is finally here. We were put into the hospital on Tuesday Oct. 14th and they started inducing on Wed morning at 5:45am. At 10am I found out that I was allergic to the epidural and I could not have one. I kinda freaked out because that is just not something you want to hear while in labor. Well, the day went on and the contractions got worse and finally at 6pm my Dr. came in and I was to a 6. Then everything started going faster and then at 11:30pm I started pushing. I pushed for 2 and 1/2 hours and finally they realized that she was sideways and was stuck. They tried to use a vacuum but it didn't help. Then finally the Dr. said, " lets go get a baby out!" that was the best thing I had heard that whole day. They took me in for a C-section and had to put me asleep. Ben was not allowed back there because of me being asleep, so we both missed the birth, but it was ok. Finally, at 2:38am she was born! She was perfect. She did have a spot on her head from the vacuum, but it healed up ok. She is WONDERFUL! No matter what I did have to go through, I would do it all over again! It is the greatest love you could ever feel.

We are having a baby!

We are so excited... we found out on February 22, 2008 that we are going to have a baby! We can't wait.. We found out on May 5, 2008 that we are having a little girl. Her name is going to be Callaway Faye Farrer, but we are going to call her Callie. She is due on October 12, 2008. I can't wait to see her. :)

Hello! We are the Farrer's. We have been married for 2 and half years. Not only are we husband and wife, we are best friends. We have so much fun together. Ben works for Chick-fil-a and has been with that company for 8 years. I am a master cosmetologist and we own The Cutting Edge Hair Salon. We are truly blessed. We have 9 stylists and a massage therapist. We are members at Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church. We love our church! Well, you are going to get to know our crazy lives, so hold on tight... it can get wild! :)
